Tribute – Halogen Foundation Singapore

Last week I was invited to attend “Tribute” – Halogen Foundation Singapore’s Fund-Raising Dinner. (Thanks to Dr Ann Tan)

Who are Halogen? Well, in their words “Halogen revolves around believing that every young person is a leader.” Their ethos can be described in four words – People, Integrity, Responsibility and Generosity. They work within the community and schools via academic workshops, events, and projects to encourage leadership from a young age. Something which I personally think is very important to succeed in life. Check out their Facebook page for more information about them.

It was a wonderful event, run with lots of high energy and to schedule to boot!

At the event we were all given cards to with one question on it. What is one thing I wish I knew when I when I was 20 that could have helped me in my 30s is… I’d love to know what your’s was…go on…write it down… :-D

Leave me some blog love

  1. Hi Zurina,

Thank you for your kind words about Halogen’s event. Glad you enjoyed it! We’ve got a page where everyone’s answers to “one thing I wish I knew when I was 20 that could have helped me in my 30s” is compiled. Yours should be there too!
