A Unique Breakfast Experience

Unique pop-up stores have always caught my attention and thankfully, I didn’t miss the spectacular one by online design retailer Naiise Cafe.

With a great location at 72-74 Dunlop Street, on the outskirts of Little India, the store’s friendly vibe had us all roped in upon arrival. Featuring design products from more than 150 independent designers from Singapore and around the world, the store brought in the festive mood early. Having Singaporean companies work together under one roof was simply splendid, it’s high time local companies get their fair share of appreciation and support. Some exclusive products and services at the pop up store also included festive blooms, vinyl records and turntables, vintage home accessories, DIY wrapping stations and weekend workshops for everyone.

Besides this, I also got the chance to taste and indulge in some wonderful food, from food partners The Cajun Kings, Park Bench Deli, Morsels, Burnt Ends, Artichoke and Kith Café. The session I attended turned out to be a crepe and pancake making session, which was a delight to be part of. It’s given me quite a head start on mastering such skills and I’m eager to use my knowledge in the future, but I’ve got to buy a non-stick fry pan first! :-D

Here’s the video illustrating what I’ve experienced - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2wSkyiyxfo&feature=youtu.be
